Hi! We're the Redden Family.
 

We're a family who loves Auburn football, good books, the outdoors, music, and gathering around the table with family and friends. Jacob is kind, patient, and one of the most grounded people I know. He has a remarkable ability to make people feel seen and cared for, and he's taught me more about slowing down than anyone else. I'm endlessly curious and love understanding how things work—whether that's our world, theology, music, or people. I enjoy asking questions, finding patterns, and occasionally disappearing down a research rabbit hole. Our two-year-old is our joyful, curious toddler who keeps us laughing every day and reminds us not to take life too seriously.
 

A few years ago, we thought we had a pretty clear picture of what our future would look like. Then a rare genetic diagnosis changed the course of our family's story. What has followed is a journey through grief, anxiety, counseling, unexpected questions, and ultimately embryo adoption—a path we never imagined we would be walking.
 

Somewhere along the way, I realized that the stories of people who had gone before us were becoming the new roadmap. Their honesty has given us courage when we didn't know where we were going next. This website exists because I hope our story might do the same for someone else.
 

This isn't a place where we've figured everything out. It's a place to document the journey as it unfolds—the questions we've wrestled with, the ways we've seen God provide, the lessons we're still learning, and the unexpected beauty we've found along the way.
